Mark 8:22-26
After feeding the 4 thousand and having 7 baskets of food left over, Jesus went to Bethsaida. There, a blind man was brought to Jesus. Jesus took the man by the hand and led him out of the town. Now, away from crowds of people, the Bible says that Jesus “spit on his eyes” and put Jesus’ hands upon him. Then Jesus asked the man if he could see anything. The man responded that he could see men that looked like trees walking.

Jesus then put hands upon the man’s eyes again and had the man look up. At that time, the man could see everything clearly. Jesus told the man to go home and not tell people in the town what Jesus had done for him.
What do you think?
-
Why do you think Jesus heals blind people in different ways?
-
Can we all expect Jesus to help us in the same exact ways he helps others?
-
Why did the man get healed partially, then fully?
-
Should we expect all of Jesus’ help to come at once, or sometimes by degrees?
-
Why does Jesus ask the people he heals not to tell others about it?
