Matthew 19:13-15

Little children were brought to have Jesus put his hands on them and pray.  The disciples tried to prevent them from coming, but Jesus asked the disciples to allow them.  

Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Jesus welcomed them, put his hands on them, and blessed them.

What do you think?

• Why might the disciples have tried to keep the children from being brought to Jesus?
• If the kingdom of heaven is of people like little children, in what ways should we be like little children?
• Why would Jesus want the children to come to him?
