Choose one of the following Stories of Jesus and think about what Jesus is teaching you. Ponder the questions. If reading with a child, discuss the story and questions to help them develop faith in Jesus Christ.

As children in church we sang a song called “Tell me the Stories of Jesus.”  I wondered then if the stories mentioned in the song were the stories about Jesus or the stories Jesus told.  I decided both types of stories were important so both types are included here.  I want to share these stories in a way that everyone can understand and that helps children today build faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

This site introduces the Stories of Jesus in preparation to get these stories directly from the scriptures.

As you read these stories, possibly with children, please spend some time discussing the questions at the end of each story.  Add your own questions that will encourage more thinking about the story.  I hope this will lead to meaningful discussions.  Doing this will invite the Holy Spirit to teach us the role that Jesus Christ can have in our lives today.
